May 18, 2010 		2nd cousin Melba Barger in west TexasJust a quick note to bring you up to date. Dann went to the Brownwood hospital Saturday, showing evidence that he was bleeding internally. Harrel and his youngest daughter were coming so Michael decided to come with them. Both boys spent the afternoon with him. He talked to them most of the afternoon. They were able to talk with our doctor early Sunday morning and are confident about Dann being at home. Before they left on Sunday, each had individual time with him. Dann is scheduled to come home today with Hospice. I know I will need help. Yesterday, he slept most of the day. He is very weak and I had to help him to even turn in the bed. Praise the LORD, Dann is in no pain. After I came home last night, there was evidence of bleeding again so I don\'t know if that will change the plans to come home. There can be no new chemo. Dann\'s deep faith will see him through. Pray that he will continue to be pain free. Blessings to all. Thanks for all the prayers, cards, calls and other expressions of love. Melba ( Dann is not expected to live so please pray for Melba to see her thru this .)Vera

Those were real powerful prayers you said for me because in only one day I feel great. I appreciate the prayers and your visits. A special thanks to Peggy and Vera for taking me to Lufkin and spending the day with me. A big praise to Bro. Dan and Bro. George for coming out a six in the morning to pray for me. My bladder is going to work fine now and my heart is full of love for each of you. Burt I thank you and Zelma for coming to the hospital. Sorry you missed the part of the show you came to see.

May 3, 2010 		CHP Officer Mathew BlankenshipMathew is a good friend of mine in CA, Last night , while on duty, he was helping a motorist whose car broke down on HWY 50. A family member came and took 4 members from that car home and left just the driver to await the wrecker. As they waited Matt looked in his rear view mirror and saw a car coming 65 miles an hour and he knew he was to close and would hit them. He struck Matts car, injuring him and before it was all over it was a four car pile up with four people being taken to the hospital. Would you join me in prayer for this young man that was so proudly doing his job and is now injured. I thank you for your prayers. Bernadine

Her prayer for herself is to get well so she can come back to Sunday School. Lord if it be your will, bring Virginia back to our Sunday School Class so we can all Pray together in your house. Amen

April 11, 2010 		Bobbie BanksMyrtle announced in Sunday School Class this norning that she had been to visit Bobbie and Charles. Charles had gone for a check up and is doing better but Bobbie is still loosing weight and having trouble eating. The Sunday School Class prayed for Bobbie and Charles and ask that each of you continue your prayers for these dear friends. We praise the Lord that Charles is doing better.
