| Debbie Smith June 24, 2010 | Debbie remains in the re-hab center in Nacogdoches and is certainly improving physically. Her speech is not as slurred and she is able to get herself out of bed and walk down the hall. Drew is doing well and will probably be taking his college placement test next week at Stephen F. | Sunday Night 30th of May 2010 6:00P M May 16, 2010 | Memorial Weekend Fairdale Baptist Church will join us to honor our Veterans,our military,our Law enforcement officersa nd Volunteer fireman. Our choir will present a Patriotic cantata titled Salute to the soldiers. 6:00 PM don\\\' forget.We will have icecream afterwards in the fellowship hall. |

| Bernadine Mackenzie May 5, 2010 | She had her procedure done on Tuesday and went home that afternoon and Wednesday she was in great shape and doing great.She thanks all of you for your prayers and visits at the hospital.In a few days we will be doing our thing(shopping at Wallmart)or what ever we think we can do.Peggy stayed with her all day and took care of her as I had my breathing problem and was not mush good. Can\'t keep us old gals down very long. |

| Six Mile Volenteer Fire Dept. March 1, 2010 | Shirley Coad reminded us that the Six Mile Volunteer Fire Department is collecting items for their garage sale. The proceeds from this sale goes to support the the fire department and the first responders, a vital part of our community which we benifit from greatly. |

| Donna Smith January 18, 2010 | The graduation service for Donna Smith will be Tuesday the 19th of Jan.We will be at the church at 10 AM for service and burial at the Cemetary North of the church.Donna's birthday will be Feb.10th,I bet her and the Lord will have a big cake for her and maybe the Angels will dance for her. Letter from Heaven To my dearest family and friends some things I'd like to say But first of all to let you know that I arrived today, I'm writing this from Heaven. Here I shall dwell with God above Here, there's no more tears of sadness. Here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through God picked me up and hugged me and He said "I welcome you, It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone, As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. I need you here badly, you are part of my plan There's so much that we have to do to help our mortal man." God gave me a fist of things that he wished for me to do And foremost on the list was to watch and care for you And when you lie in bed at night, the days chores put to flight God and I are closest to you . . in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on earth and all those loving years Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain. 1 wish that I could tell you all that God has planned If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand But one thing is for certain though my life on earth is o'er I'm closer to you now than I ever was before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb But together we can do it by taking one day at a time. When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind And when it's time for you to go . . from that body to be free Remember you're not going . . you're just coming here to me. |
